Concerts are an especially rich opportunity for me to share with you the music that is meaningful, moving, and inspiring to me. The music I love to play includes my original arrangements of music from medieval Europe, traditional British and Celtic (Irish, Scottish, Welsh) folk music, and American folk songs, especially those of Appalachian origin, which are the songs traditionally played on the mountain dulcimer. I also write and compose songs of my own, many of which are inspired by literature, faith, myth, and tales of the imagination, including the works of J.R.R. Tolkien.
It is my passion to share with the world music that draws one into a deeper experience and appreciation of life, that leads to personal healing, and that frees a person to consider life's creative possibilities.
I would be more than happy to share my music with you and your communities.
Below are several samples of the kind of songs I like to play as well as excerpts from some of my live performances.
