NEW ONLINE WORKSHOP
May Festival Dance:
Two Slip Jigs and a Reel for Mountain Dulcimer
Sunday, May 15, 2022, from 1-2:30 p.m. Central Time in Zoom
NEW MTN. DULCIMER WORKSHOP: The month of May is a time for dancing and song! The set of traditional Celtic songs I have chosen for our next workshop will keep our fingers dancing merrily: “The Boys of Ballisodare,” “Flowers of Edinburgh,” and “Comb Your Hair and Curl It.” These dances are very lyrical and are often played at a moderate tempo, so we will be learning them at an approachable pace. Consequently, although these pieces might be considered advanced, they will be addressed at a level appropriate for intermediate players as well. Please bring a capo! Registration will be $15 per participant. I will send you a Zoom meeting link and a PayPal request once you RSVP by messaging me on Facebook or emailing me at comeaujd@gmail.com.
